Release Notes:

Clive Gregson, one of the most respected names in music, will
release a career-defining 'Best Of' collection on April 27th
and take to the road shortly afterwards. This will be his
first solo compilation. Released on his own Gregsongs label
and taking material from eight of his key albums, the 18-track
CD also includes never heard demo versions of several songs
including 'I Love This Town' and longstanding favourites from
the Gregson/Collister back catalogue. From the bittersweet to
the witty to haunting songs like 'Feathers' and the perfect
festive number 'Comfort and Joy', GregsonÆs sensitive
songwriting shines through in a range of beautifully crafted
and produced tracks.

In a career spanning nearly three decades, Manchester-born,
Nashville-based Clive Gregson has earned himself a reputation
as one of the most talented, innovative and respected names in
the music industry. Much loved for his duo work with Christine
Collister, he is also remembered for being a one time member
of the revered Richard Thompson Band and performing as a trio
with Eddi Reader and Boo Hewerdine. He does, as The
Independent astutely observed, 'the lot' û not just a
consummate songwriter he is also a top guitarist, keyboards
player, singer and skilled producer.
