Release Notes:
Ipswich singer-songwriter Hannah Scott this month launches her
first new recordings since the summer of 2008.
Since the release of the CD Till Angels Fall, recorded at
Gemini Studios in Ipswich, Hannah has been concentrating on
promoting that album and getting herself established on a
national basis.
She has also found time to write plenty of new songs and is
now working with fellow guitarist, pianist and singer John
Carden.
The pair have been working on four tracks - Falling Into
Spring, Trail Of Stars, Into Your Grief and Climbing On
Castles - all of which will appear on their new EP.
The CD is being unveiled in the Blue Room upstairs at PJ
McGinty's in Ipswich on Saturday March 21 when Hannah and John
will be joined on the bill by a couple of Daisys - Daisy
Windsor and Daisy-Mae - who'll both be performing solo
acoustic sets.
Hannah's kindly asked me to compere the gig and I didn't need
asking twice. The following night sees the London launch of
Hannah and John's debut recording collaboration.
2009's got off to a flyer for Hannah. She supported folk star
Cara Dillon in Norwich recently and has been getting some
invaluable advice from EMI Publishing's Kenny McGoff who's
taken a liking to Hannah's songs. Watch this space!
