Release Notes:

Spring has arrived! Or at least it certainly feels like it
after the opening chords of Good People Do Bad Things. This is
an astonishing assured debut album from the Brighton four
piece. To paraphrase Shakespeare - brevity is the source of
good music. The joyously infectious songs do not hang around
long enough for you to find fault with them.

The Perils need to be unleashed live. Every song has a
guttural energy that would only be enhanced on stage. Capture
them while they're raw. It has the feeling of a band enjoying
themselves and wanting you to have a similarly positive
outlook. There is no way you won't be uplifted by this
collection of songs

By no means the finished article, The Perils are undeniably
derivative. Yet when they take the best elements of bands like
The Clash and The Arctic Monkeys, it is harsh to criticise
them for this. Like a good old mix tape, the album shifts
tempo in all the right places.

Originally set for release 23rd March 2009, but was pushed
back to 13th April 2009.
