Miguel Martins was born in Faro, in the year 1976. In 1995
began playing jazz professionally, to highlight their long
participation in theBig Band jazz na Filarm≤nica directed by ZΘ
Eduardo, which studied the basics of improvisation and harmony.
He studied guitar with Riky SabatΘs, Mario Delgado, Jonathan
Kreisberg, Ben Monder and Phillipe Caterine. He participated in
several workshops with musicians like Frank Tiberi or John
Nugent, Doug Weis, Nguyen Lee and others. In 1998 until 2003 as
a quintet as a leading composer entitled "Portujazz." For this
group passed musicians like as: Antonio Mesa, Joahnnes Krieger,
Yuri Daniel, Bruno Pedroso, Alexandre Frazπo, Demian Cabaud,
Lars Arens, JosΘ Menezes, David Linker, Pedro Gonτalves, Hugo
Alves. In the educational field has a degree in Music Education
in 2000 /1 teaches the discipline of jazz guitar at the jazz
School of the Barreiro, 2005 / 7 at the jazz School of jazz of
Torres Vedras and JBjazz. In 2006, he organized the workshop
"Horta Jazz Workshop" in the Azores (Faial), as a teacher and a
guitar combo in Lagosjazz2007 workshop. Miguel
Martins"Kaleidoscopio" was born in 2004 with the contrabaixista
Carlos Barretto and Finnish drummer Markku Ounaskari. In 2007,
Miguel Martins "Kaleidoscopio" publishes its first album "The
newcomer" by Klimaxrecords, relased in LUX "Lisbon Jazz
Sessions." Miguel Martins has performed in several national and
international jazz festival such as: Festival of Seville, of
Punta Umbria Festival, Festival International de LoulΘ, Faro
International Festival, Festival of Vila Real (douro jazz),
Lagos Jazz Festival (2005/07 ), the Sodueste Festival, Festival
Paredes de Coura, was invited by Faro national capital of
culture 2005 to participate as guest soloist in the Jazz
Orchestra of Lagos "OJL, Portalegre Jazz Fest, TorresVedras
Jazz Fest, Jazz Fest PlenOut , Jazz Im Garten Goethe, Festival
of Aljustrel "Jazzmin", PortugalJazz "Almeirim," Festival of
Gibraleon "jazzolontia 07", festival jazz of "Dos Hermanas
(Sevilla), Jazz Circle V (Madrid), Festival de Jazz de Valado
and Hall's concert "in LoulΘ, Figueir≤ dos Vinhos, Beja, Horta,
Tomar, Redondo, Faro, among several performances at major jazz
clubs, national and internacinais and tours around Portugal,
Spain, England, Germany, Italy. In late 2007 he moved to
Barcelona where he lived and played with musicians as Llibert
Fortuny, Masa Kamaguchi etc ... Throughout his journey music
played with national and international musicians such as Carlos
Barretto, Carlos Bica, Markku Ounaskari, Pedro Madaleno, ZΘ
Eduardo, Jonathan Robinson, John B Arnold, Kelvin Sholar,
Paulinho Lemos, Joπo Frade, Munir Hoss, AndrΘ Sousa Machado,
Sebastian Merk, Regis Molina, Nelson Cascais, Paulo Bandeira,
Laurent Filipe, JosΘ Salgueiro, Mario Franco, Antonio Ciaca
etc.

Dgn is around since 1998...
After a few years, a few rippers who left, a few who joined, people
greeting,people yelling, people threatening, people helping, people
watching, we're still enjoying our aime: Let ppl listen to what they
are gonna buy b4 they pay a single penny.
There have been also some people and groups that helped out during the
last few years, maybe it's because of them that (against all odds) we
are still releasing and doing well, those know who they are, and we'll
thank forever.
We remind our beloved public, we're against all kind of distrubution,
don't search our rips neither in your preferred XDcc channel, nor in
your local 127.0.0.1 p2p program, We do not distribute ! But it's not
nice to buy when you do not know what you're buying.
As a matter of fact, DGN is a private group, and do not need rippers,
fast or slow shells, traders, t1+ sites, couriers, prewhores, and hw
suppliers, we need only a nice chalet in Switzerland/Canada or a Villa
in the Caribbean sea where to listen to some chillout music.
