█ OK, so the other rip might look legit to you, but it's actually quite a good
█ fake (a threat in today's scene). A quick Google search has revealed the
█ reality of MonoPoly's rip; it's a re-encode. Notice how their "pic"
█ originates from amazon.com. Both images are 62.1kb, 500px, 96dpi @ bit depth
█ 24. If you had the real thing, wouldn't you scan that? Also, we did some
█ comparisons on MonoPoly's release and the webripped one found on Google; they
█ just so happen to be exactly the same length, down to the second, 47m01s.
█ Track 07 of the MonoPoly release is 7384320 samples long, the same exact
█ length of the webrip. On the other hand, our release is 46m34s and track 07
█ of ours is 7293552 samples long. Coincidence? We re-encoded the webrip to see
█ if we got the same number of samples, and we did. Thus, we conclude the
█ MonoPoly release is fake and re-encoded. I know our filesize is slightly
█ smaller, but based on these facts and the fact that we've caught this group
█ faking releases before (see
█ Wisin_And_Yandel-Los_Extraterrestres_Otra_Dimension-(Retail)-SP-2CD-2008-VAG)
█ and the fact that MonoPoly pre'd their release some 1w+ ahead of retail, we
█ are quite confident their release is fake. Refer to some of the included
█ pics. Enjoy.
