Fusion signed not long ago, a true club banger to the label. Wipe The
Needle consisting of Swedish Mikael Nybom and London-man Lee Gomez,
have done a lot for themselves through the Defected sublabel 4th
Floor and now with a full-length album coming on Soundmen on Wax. But
it's their first Raw Fusion release which is truly the creme de la
creme of house music!
The release starts off with a high resolution gospel banger done with
the help of Swedish resident, via Lusaka Zambia, Mr Aaron Phiri aka
Zulu Gestapo (last of the Gris Gris) from the raw uncut concrete
jungle hip-hop duo HearinÆ Aid. His vocals break down the firmest of
titanium walls when mashed up with the organs and jacked up kicks of
this soon to be peak hour business.
And off they run into the past with their futuristic moves and hammer
us up a 1995 inspired Jack track with the deepest of chords and jack
break to ever slam the ham in your face. This is the b-side that puts
a shade over the a-side all night into the morning dew. Watch out for
this one on the main dance floors!
