Written and produced by Steve Gibbs
"Adrift" is the follow up to the recent club success, "Return To Reality",
a tune which launched the Antarctica name with a bang. Receiving plays from
Sasha, Nick Warren And Carl Cox - Who played it at Midnight on Millenium
Eve! - "Return To Reality" also gave Antarctica entries in the cool cuts,
buzz charts & a single of the week in seven magazine.
With "Adrift" the hype on Antarctica, and Steve Gibbs, is set to soar.
Antarctica is the latest guise in an increasingly high profile CV.
Releases under his own name for Eve Records and as altitude for Bonzai
(Soon to be licensed to Sony in the UK) highlighted Steve as a name to
check.
"Adrift" utilizes Steve's musical sense as a classically trained pianist,
taking his trance sound into new levels of depth, fluidity and musicality.
With "Adrift" Steve Rolls out an epic blend of piano's, Moroder style
synth washes and deep trance dancefloor dynamics.
Remixes come courtesy of Airwave, best known for their deep trance remix
of Andy Ling's "Fixation," and Mike Wells aka Force Mass Motion, who roll
a tough progressive workout already causing a buzz on the underground.
Enjoy.
