The inimitable B-Music crew bring the heat this
week with two stunning floor rockers plucked
from obscurity by two of the world's most famed
diggers, David Holmes and The Judge to start the
party on their new Weekend Breaks series devoted
to tried and tested dance heaters.
The judge is offered the first side and picks Angelonotes
& Eighteen's 'Flight 2', yeah, we've never heard of
it before either but it's an absolute doozy of a cut,
rolling together mid tempo breaks, a diesel fuelled
motorbass and squalls of psyched garage rock
geetars for an unbeatable dance dynamo just
sweating with attitude. David Holmes is offerd the
flipside and opts for a freak-out uptempo cut from
vintage Italian composer Tullio De Piscopo.
It's basically just 5 minutes of badass drum breaks
and polyrhythmic percussion with the odd howl making
it sound like Goblin in mid session minus the synths
and guitars and guaranteed to ignite anyone in the
vicinity when you drop this. Both tracks are pressed
up at 45pm, with one per side for the DJ's.
