The first in a series of "lost tapes" from Citric Recordings pits
label head Noah Becker against label co-founder Alex Fish (Holosound)
in a head to head progressive tech battle where everyone wins out
with groovy, glitchy percussion and the smooth musical elements
Holosound productions are known for. The original mix is a techy
bouncer good for mid to late set pump up factorial, while the re-edit
provides a slightly more progressive edge with an additional melodic
part and chord progression. Deep Cycle's first release on Citric is a
true tech winner, moving methodically through the various elements of
the original to create a haunting tech house/ techno masterpiece.
