Amazing ancient and SUPER hard to find (ltd. 200, and very rare)
album by the Dutch Nightmarish. Released a long long time ago by the
mad-cult label Galakthorr÷ (Haus Arafna's label), this band creates
weird found-sound-industrial ambience that propel you right into the
era from which the albums are based. Their later CD album "Pompeji"
took you right into the heart of Pompeii, from the people and sounds
of Ancient Italy to the sounds of its destruction.
Utrecht is one of the main cities in Netherlands and a key place in
European history. One of the most important commercial centers of the
Netherlands in the Middle Ages, Utrecht was incorporated with the
rest of the Hapsburg-held Netherlands by Charles V. Utrecht joined
(1577) in the rebellion against Philip II of Spain, and on Jan. 23,
1579, the seven provinces of the Netherlands, from then on known as
the United Provinces, the nucleus of the Dutch republic, drew
together for their common defense in the Union of Utrecht.
This album is a treasure and it's sadly out of print. Thank god for
