Many of the tunes in this latest GU are so unfamilar to me, as I believe
they are very upfront tunes that are spun by big names DJs the like of
Nick Warren, Sasha, etc. That's the beauty of Global Underground series
in delivering tunes at the speed of sound that no other has the exact
same quality. Track 2 & 3 of CD 1 sound familiar to me as I have heard
these two finest tracks before; they were slammed by Sasha in his recent
birthday party set. The music emanating from this GU - Nick Warren
ranges from blissful soundscapes of sublime warm up tracks to perfect
percussive driving funked deep progressive houser, full of raging beats
and hypnotic bass, some of which are of darker approach and which make
the tunes more usable in later night sets, to progressive breakbeats
with layers of chanting vocals to soaring & anthemic riched flowing
trancier tracks. The second disc is definitely the stronger of the two
and has to offer some intense tracks. The highlight of some of the
tracks in this double CD that emphasize on the mood and depth are: "Soul
Mekanik - I'll Call U," "Ariane - Eternity," "Revolt - Dive Into The
Deep," very hot with Van M as well, "DJ Gogo - Ajuna, "Futureshock -
Sparc" and "Halo Varga - Future!" This is an album that will surely be
highly rated, and of course, I give straight 10/10 for this remarkable
    CD.

    Enjoy!
