█ A very good score that was blatantly passed over █
█ by the Academy in 1993. Fenton has the perfect █
█ touch for this period piece. It combines excellent █
█ solos by choir, clarinet, cello and violin with █
█ massively lush orchestral cues. The two tracks █
█ with full choral accompanyment are both excellent █
█ (1 and 18), and the end credits are very melodic █
█ and full. I am personally not a fan of period █
█ pieces, but this score is very effective in its █
█ place. The only drawback are the traditional █
█ tracks spread throughout --it leaves me wondering █
█ how much of what I'm listening to is actually █
█ Fenton's original score. Overall, the LSO sounds █
█ great and the choral tracks are more than worth █
█ it. █
