█░ "Ralph Myerz was once known as DJ Erlend Sellevold, a ░█
█░ Scandanavian turntablist that started making a name for ░█
█░ himself in Bergen, Norway. Building a popular set in the ░█
█░ late 90's, he asked friends Thomas Lonnheim and Tarjei Strom ░█
█░ to join him on percussion and found that audiences went nuts ░█
█░ for the sound. Already adopting the tag of Ralph Myerz due ░█
█░ to his fascination with exploitation filmmaker Russ Meyer, ░█
█░ Lonnheim and Strom took the name of the Jack Herren Band ░█
█░ (Meyer's cameraman) and they released their first 12", 'A ░█
█░ Special Morning.' The next year, 'Nikita' became a huge ░█
█░ underground 7" and convinced them to put together a ░█
█░ compilation of their work for Emperor Norton Records. While ░█
█░ "Nikita" became a Volkswagen commercial, Myerz and crew ░█
█░ released A Special EP, which included their first two ░█
█░ singles as well as the new 'Clouds' and 'Menage a Trois.' " ░█
