      █░█▒      journey through a deeply introspective sonic         ▒█░█
      █░█▒      desert. Presented as 5 mental landscapes, Nareah is  ▒█░█
      █░█▒      a work in which Israel merges his primary sound      ▒█░█
      █░█▒      source, field recordings, with synthesized and       ▒█░█
      █░█▒      sampled instruments. Everything is then processed    ▒█░█
      █░█▒      through the computer, generating a richly complex    ▒█░█
      █░█▒      yet minimalist hypnotic music.                       ▒█░█

      █░█▒      israel martinez (born mexico, 1979) is a sound       ▒█░█
      █░█▒      artist working in experimental electronic music,     ▒█░█
      █░█▒      sound installation, and site-specific sonic          ▒█░█
      █░█▒      projects. he began making computer music as israel   ▒█░█
      █░█▒      m in 2002, and co-founded the mexican electronic     ▒█░█
      █░█▒      music label abolipop. known for his psychedelic      ▒█░█
      █░█▒      shades-of-grey aesthetic, he produces fully loaded   ▒█░█
      █░█▒      sonic layers that everevolve into constant           ▒█░█
      █░█▒      approximations and dissociations. his music often    ▒█░█
      █░█▒      carries an extramusical social reflection, as in     ▒█░█
      █░█▒      his piece 'mi vida'd (2007 prix ars electronica      ▒█░█
      █░█▒      award of distinction), which critiques the abuse of  ▒█░█
