Release Notes:
Regular John's debut album The Peaceful Atom is a
Bomb has already garnered stellar reviews in music
press and dailies alike. Since their independent EP
release Marrickville 2204 in 2007, the band have
built a cult following and been playing with the
likes of Dinosaur Jr, You Am I, The Datsuns, as well
as at various festivals. Now signed to Difrnt Music,
their album debut is "a perfect distillation of
everything good that's happened since rock found a
heavy, fuzzy imagination in the late Sixties -
stoner grooves, psychedelic detours, ballsy,
punk-esque hooks and infectious rhythms, all
overlaid with the sort of lyrics that only emerge
when smart people play with drugs." (Dan Lander,
Rolling Stone magazine)
