█ █ █ and Out chilled out. Se±or Roody crossed the English █ ████
█ █ █ border into Scotland to read post-colonial poetry at █ ████
█ █ █ University. Clandestine Ein dug deep into his █ ████
█ █ █ 'satchel of dreams' and began clearing out the old █ ████
█ █ █ space. Shortly after, a precise channel of light █ ████
█ █ █ fell onto an old cigar box, illuminating the wording █ ████
█ █ █ in gold leaf: 'Made in Havana, Cuba'. From the █ ████
█ █ █ darkness of the cellar the moon was seen falling, █ ████
█ █ █ falling, fall.... █ ████
█ █ █ █ ████
█ █ █ ...ing into the whites of his eyes: the moment was █ ████
█ █ █ unexpected. Timing is everything. Clandestine Ein █ ████
█ █ █ slowly surfaced with the rising, rising sun, █ ████
█ █ █ complete in its revolutionary ochre glow. The █ ████
█ █ █ Caribbean sea lapping at his knees, the first █ ████
█ █ █ metropolis of the west's 'new world' towering unseen █ ████
█ █ █ behind him. The reverie was cut short by Se±or █ ████
█ █ █ Roody, who turning the key, booted-up the 1956 █ ████
█ █ █ chevrolet - ívamos!. They chugged toward an old █ ████
█ █ █ Spanish barrio in Havana with hip hop resurrecting █ ████
█ █ █ the antiquated stereo. They pulled-up outside █ ████
█ █ █ 'sonocaribe' studios, calle 23 and tuned-in to █ ████
█ █ █ Cuba's number 1 flautist and orchestrator - 'richard █ ████
█ █ █ egⁿes'. The 'Rebel Radio' project began - a musical █ ████
█ █ █ fusion that brings together 'the smokeyness of █ ████
█ █ █ Bristol, the coolness of Havana'. A dream was █ ████
█ █ █ unfolding - the chance to record 2 'Master Sessions' █ ████
█ █ █ albums with this island's famous brothers of 'salsa' █ ████
█ █ █ soul and'descarga' madness █ ████
█ █ █ █ ████
█ █ █ ................................................. █ ████
█ █ █ the ensuing long recording hours were liberally █ ████
█ █ █ spiced with chugging rhythms, sweat, dark rum, █ ████
█ █ █ colours. Then all tapes were mixed and mastered, █ ████
█ █ █ sealed and then posted to the UK inside a 'romeo and █ ████
█ █ █ julieta' cigar box.to flavour the project further, █ ████
█ █ █ it was filmed on 16 mm and super 8 by 'Jules 'shoes' █ ████
█ █ █ Elvins' of 'Waldo Films', London, then eclectically █ ████
█ █ █ cut-up and presented as a cd-rom by multi-media █ ████
█ █ █ bwoys Miles essex and Javier Cerdas in the United █ ████
█ █ █ States. The image and the nation became an █ ████
█ █ █ imagination, born from the days when the 'breeze was █ ████
█ █ █ mellow' - 10 years have since passed when this █ ████
█ █ █ explosive fusion took place. This 12" is the █ ████
█ █ █ avant-go√t to the 'Master Sessions' album tapes that █ ████
█ █ █ will be available on vinyl and CD from july 10th. █ ████
█ █ █ Back home, the cinni fan was revolving above Up, █ ████
█ █ █ Bustle and Out's' mixing table. The smokey █ ████
█ █ █ atmosphere diffused, reaching the dubby lungs of █ ████
█ █ █ Bristol's bedrock - Smith & Mighty who were on the █ ████
█ █ █ decks cuttin'-up drum and bass. They mastered 2 █ ████
█ █ █ re-mixes, giving this release heavier and deeper █ ████
█ █ █ dimensions. The odour and fresh vibes didn't pass █ ████
█ █ █ unnoticed by 'moodubi' - the chicas capable of █ ████
█ █ █ serious dope beats, party talk and up-on-deck █ ████
█ █ █ skills. In their hands this flirtatious stuff is █ ████
█ █ █ funked-up and grooves like a band of dirty angels. █ ████

█ █ █ back-lines, hard as stone █ ████
