Release Note ......::
Up to album number three in this exciting new series now.. and following on from South America & Italy.. comes the home to home to some of the best producers in Europe.. The Netherlands!
This time we enlisted the help of local 'boy done good' C-Jay.. seeking out out an exclusive selection of sounds from some of the areas most exciting new talent. the package includes a mix from the compiler himself , and the full unmixed tracks.. with cuts from Eelke Kleijn, Le Ron & Yves Eaux, Sven Hauck, Daniel Wanrooy, Sql and many many more, and with all tracks exclusive to baroque!
As a dj, producer, label owner (The Sessions Recordings) and promoter of his own underground dance nights, Dutch artist C-Jay got his first worldwide release in 2004. SwayWatch got signed to the Moun10 imprint, (owned by Dutch house legend Jaydee). Since then C-Jay has released many singles on his own and other labels , gathering regular support from the likes of Anthony Pappa and Hernan Cattaneo.
His Debut artist album was released this year , called Magnanimity, a double disc containing his own brand new productions on disc one, and collaborations and remixes on the second disc.
Having dj'd around the globe, alongside some of the scenes biggest names, C-jay knows what works a floor , and when we had to pick someone to go out there and select the tracks for this release, his name was first on our list!. From his own energetic 'Song For Sophie', and equally powerful 'Collins Avenue' from Leron & Yves Eaux. To the slammin tech house cuts like 'Pretpakket' from Eelke Kleijn and 'Darktide' from Sven Hauck.. to the more minimal and teasing 'Muzik Is The Drug' by Philogresz. This album will awaken your Dutch senses!
