JP Cregan is the stage name for John Cregan. This was done in an attempt to
protect his anonymity. JP/John is also in Parklane Twin, an LA-based Alt-Country
Pop combo that has been around for a couple of years. He just finished his first
record, with the help of Highland Park-based wunderkind-ace producer Nik
Freitas, who also happens to be his next door neighbor. JP/John plays a lot of
B-Bender guitar. See if you can spot its distinctive sound! In his spare time,
JP/John is a partner in Severin Films (a label that puts out the "best films
ever made") and writes for ESPN about fantasy basketball. Some of these songs
will probably end up in a film he just directed called Devolved
(www.devolvedthemovie.com) which features Chris Kattan, Lindsey Shaw, and Robert
Adamson.
