As for the READ_NFO crap, it relates to the incorrect version of lame
PALACE release:
For the REAL version number, look on the right side of the main menu
under the blue "Alien Stars" title. Hmm, you see 1.21 for sure.
As for the pathetic attempt at a crack by PALASS:
They have failed to create a fully working executable, since the file
will crash at launch under all Operating Systems.
Sample crash on Win 9x kernels:

1. Install the original game release by PALASS.
Next put Lz0 thiefs (nice job on keygens for non-released Reflexive games -
ever so useful - lol) and other idiots like ZWT into the garbage can.
Finally, return to this elite crack fix.
2. UnZIP all archives to a temporary directory.
3. UnRAR the archive to your Installed directory,
overwriting any existing files.
4. Run the program. If enjoyment is experienced, then buy the program!
5. Lastly, burn all thiefs in hell, especially:
