The Dutsch cellist Ernst Reijseger is known as an excellent
improvisor and cross- border commuter in between the
musical worlds. His Winter & Winter debut album Colla Parte
is a intimate conversation with himself. His second album
Colla Voche persents him as a sensetive and fascinating
partner with the Sardinnien choir Tenore e Cuncordu de
Orosei. Ernst Reijseger loves the musical world of the
Japanese composer Fumio Yasuda and he is the featured solo
artists on Yasuda's album Kakyoku performed by the European
Art Ensemble.
The up-coming CD is a duet with great Italian jazz pianist
Franco D'Andrea. I love you so much it hurts is an
excursion into the world of jazz. Jazz is the starting
point of all works by Ernst Reijseger and in that sence
this new album is the homecoming of Ernst Reijseger.
