In 2001 DEPTH & JUNK officially unite and form the Poetically/Grimy/Rap
duo, KARPEDIEM. Karpediem bursts into the small but talented Nelson, B.C
Hip-Hop scene with a local classic underground album back in 2003.
The record was produced entirely by local legend Dj Rippel, and
independently selling well over 1000 copies. Through 01 to 05 Karpediem
manages to travel across western Canada on some memorable tours with
Cunninlynguists & Tonedeff, Abstract Rude, Zulu The Butterfly & Dj Drez.
Until finally then reuniting again in 08 to officially launch their
self-generated label DEEPER THAN BOTTOMLESS coming late 2009
This EP BUILDING BLOCKS, symbolizes the new beginning of the group that
they are back together, and making the moves they need to due to the
falling out with Mr Dark One founder of WTR Records that produced the
album Radio Soap by Junk.
