       │ One of Chicago's most underrated (and somehow one of         ││
       │ Doubledown's biggest acts), Adam Nelson's latest EP for his  ││
       │ own Q Studios imprint finds his Sombionx moniker delving     ││
       │ into 4 tracks of proper Chicago house. The title track is a  ││
       │ fantastic manifesto for the jack-is-back movement            ││
       │ flourishing in the Midwest, while "Feels Like" comes off     ││
       │ like a fierce, minimal UK tech-houser. My personal pick,     ││
       │ however, goes to "Summertime," a season-appropriate deep     ││
       │ house cut with sub-surrendering low-end technique, a         ││
       │ gorgeous vocal from Lindsay, and a fresh sample cut-up that  ││
       │ maintains its Chi-town grit.                                 ││
