│ The game is a mixture between "simulation of building a city" and │
│ "fighting your opponents". Even though "simulation games" are mostly │
│ viewed from above, in DownTown you can walk through your city. In fact, │
│ you'll build your houses just a few steps away, having your "feet" on │
│ the ground. And if you prefer you can still fly over your city. │
│ │
│ Your people will need food and something to drink, so you have to take │
│ care of that. Send somebody to get the food and build silos where they │
│ can store it. Build shops where your people can buy the food. │
│ │
│ You need money to survive the game. Build factories, where they can work │
│ and earn money for you. Build tunnels inside the mountains to get raw │
│ material like stone or ore and where you can hide from your enemies. │
│ │
│ If you don't like bloodthirsty games, buy houses from your opponents, │
│ build much faster then they do or make your city work more efficient. │
│ │
│ If you like blood (even so there is no blood in the game), fight a war │
│ against your opponents and try to eliminate their buildings by shooting │
│ them with the heavy blaster-gun or place bombs everywhere. │
│ │
│ Or maybe you just enjoy building the biggest city of all. │
