=========================== PROPER ===============================
first of all... i'd like to say i hate making PROPER's
i wish all groups would stop racing and just concentrate on 'high
quality' recordings of 'high quality' music
ok here's the deal:
TWCLIVE beat us in speed this week,
...........but there is a disgusting lowpass filter on their recording
that cuts off the high frequency range.
What you end up with is a muddy recording, and far less quality than
we at 1real like our music at.
test for yourself:
==================
try comparing 3:30 on the TWC rip with 3:50 on mine
you'll see what i mean
or even worse quality around 29:30
on mine you can hear the individual hi hats, and their stereo position
not to mention the encoding artefacts
bah
The moral of the story:
10mbit connections are still useless if you don't know how to rip!
i'll let TWCLIVE continue to insult themselves with inferior releases,
and i'll let the listeners decide which they prefer on their HiFi's,
mp3 players, and car stereos.
