│ This 4 track vinyl contains two new "Volldampf" Tracks plus ││
│ an "E-Chip" and a "Phonatic" Remix. Andreas Roll, who is ││
│ running the Label "Gaia TontrΣger", and Thorsten Mesrine, ││
│ who was highly involved in the radio staion "Evosonic", aka ││
│ "Volldampf" started in the early ninetieth with their smash ││
│ hit "Marijuanna". Their Album was released on NovaTekk. ││
│ Lately they have started a new project called E-Chip, which ││
│ is a cooperation of "Volldampf" and "Alpha". The second ││
│ remix was done by Florian Duncklau aka "Phonatic", who was ││
│ responsible for Jum Jam Record`s red vinyl! The leading ││
│ power of "Forgotten Songs" is a very energetic and pushing ││
│ 1/16 bass. It is well arranged with a warm and open base ││
│ drum. On this fudament the track carries you into a world of ││
│ atmosperic uplifting guitar sounds and a brilliant female ││
│ voice sample. The E-Chip remix starts off more progressive ││
│ but very emotional. The brilliant voice samples are combined ││
│ so gently and musically with the beats and the more ││
│ effectfully used guitar, that it will make the crowd as ││
│ happy as Data after activating his E(motion)-Chip. The ││
│ B-Side Track "Abflug" is based on a great and funky bass ││
│ loop. The arrangement is more experimental. The loop runs ││
│ together with some percussions and again a very lovely warm ││
│ and open base drum, through diferent filters and effects. ││
│ So, the sound is changing slightly the whole track. Phonatic ││
│ played a litle bit with the bass loop and arranged it well ││
│ with a pumping off-beat. ││
