This one snuck out under the Detroit Radar, hardly a word :::::::::
and the new Carl Craig 12" drops. 4 variations of heavy, :::::::::
heavy beats with a little assistance from the French :::::::::
dancefloor saboteur Laurent Garnier on the opening track :::::::::
'Demented (Or Just Crazy)'. The tribal rhythms that start :::::::::
the fray build and get louder while crazy shouts whoops :::::::::
and hollers all fly over the top, the build-up runs for a :::::::::
good couple of minutes with those little synths stabs that :::::::::
Carl uses so well sneaking in and joining with the :::::::::
percussion to add to the tribal atmosphere. The vocal :::::::::
samples become more frequent and suddenly the bass and :::::::::
kick drums explode with a flurry grunts (yes grunts) and :::::::::
the track hits full flow, an uplifting yet solid and heavy :::::::::
groove commences to destroy the floor, a huge club monster :::::::::
from one man who has never released a bad record. The :::::::::
other 3 variations are a straight drum track, using just :::::::::
the bare bones of the drum machine beats for all those :::::::::
sample heads out there. Flip to find the almost completely :::::::::
different and infinately deeper 'Demented Drums Version' :::::::::
which strips away the tribal percussion and the samples to :::::::::
leave the straight drum track, backed by the synth stabs :::::::::
and some absolutely gorgeous strings which add that :::::::::
Detroit warmth and give the track a complete :::::::::
transformation from GarnierÆs edit on the A-side. Another :::::::::
brilliant 12" from Carl Craig, one that will be a club :::::::::
classic and will add to the undeniably genius Planet E :::::::::
catalogue of work. :::::::::

:::: GROUP NFO :::....................::::::.
:::::..
Some say we have grown to a mature group now that we are 2 years :::::.
old. We will keep pumpin out nice electronic music releases like ::::::
we have done for the past 2 years :) So we guess there is nothing ::::::
more to say than this: ::::::
::::::
The artists we deal with are not rock stars. They don't pretend ::::::
to be 'the man'. They're not part of the establishment, the multi- ::::::
million dollar music business. So the only way our scene can stay ::::::
alive is through undying support for the artists and labels. *THIS* ::::::
is the sole reason we release music... ::::::
::::::
So for fuck's sake, if you like what your hear, go to your local ::::::
record shop and purchase a copy of your own. It's your duty! Only ::::::
through this process we can all continue to enjoy techno music to ::::::
the fullest. As far as our releases go, if you can get hold of them, ::::::
be happy and treasure them. Don't start posting to public domains ::::::
or sources!! This will eventually result in a more restricted ::::::
distribution of our releases, possibly even only internal... ::::::
The choice is yours... ::::::
::::::
Thanks guys and gals -- Cheers from TechnoRulez (MENS only CLUB) :::::..
