     I was born in Warsaw, Poland in 1982. Then, my family adventures took me to
     Colombia for 7 years and to San Francisco and San Antonio Texas for 3.
     During that time my father, clarinetist, taught the basics of music. I
     became interested in jazz and improvisation at around 9. In that year I
     returned to Poland and hung out a lot with an old friend of my father's who
     taught me some simple jazz licks. By 12 I was spending every wednesday at
     the main jazz club in Warsaw "Akwarium". Through my high school years I
     studied jazz and classical music at the F.Chopin school and gradually
     became more active in the polish jazz scene. At 18 I received a scholarship
     to Berklee College of Music in Boston and went on to study there. During
     the two and a half years I spent at Berklee I made a bunch of fantastic
     friends and had some great learning experiences. With Ziv Ravitz and Garteh
     Stevenson we formed th trio TAQ, with which we play regularly and recently
     have released our first CD "Live in Minsk Mazowiecki". At Berklee I also
     met my future wife. After graduating we bounced back and forth between
     Argentina (where Candi's from) and Poland. That being quite tiresome we
     decided to stay in Warsaw for a while. Again I became very involved in the
     local music scene. I worked with the bands Pink Freud, Muzykoterapia,
     Papierosy, Innocent Sorcerers, and played and recorded with many great
     musicians. Also, I fell in love with the clavichord, I built one, and
     intensely renewed my interest in classical music, getting quite obsessed
     with the 18th century. Recently though the time came to move on and in
     search of new artistic adventures we moved to London, where we currently
     live.
