  New on Ghostly International following their hugely acclaimed
  releases by Dabrye and the Disco Nouveau compilations. Midwest
  Product weld live instrumentation to crafty electronics for output
  that is decidedly warm and wholeheartedly Midwestern. `Specifics'
  is their debut LP and it references their love for early electro
  and atmospheric post-rock in equal parts. A 10 track, 50+ minute
  longplayer, `Specifics' is a promising first look at a conceptual
  band that work to keep process in line with the finished product.
  An assemblage of stylistic influences, Midwest Product eschews
  possible schizophrenia and comes forth with a sound that is not
  only cohesive, but eerily accessible. Check.
  
  Midwest_Product-Specifics-ADVANCE-2002-ESC contains a nasty glitch
  on the fourth track. Since this is such a killer album, here is
  the proper rip for all you audiophiles. Ace.
