----------------------------------[Notes]-------------------------------------
It's a formula that captivates my ear every time I come across it, and
regardless of the location I have to stop and listen. From the first few
notes of "Believe The Hype" from Minnesota's Lookbook I knew I had found it
again. Maggie Morrison's voice soars over and searches through the rhythmic
creations of Grant Cutler. The result is ominous, but somehow they draw you
in with their silk and sugar. Once you enter into the soft and electronic
universe of Lookbook, and never want to leave.
Coming out of the booming Minneapolis scene is becoming more and more of a
challenge because of the high density of talented bands, but Grant and Maggie
have truly found something unique.
