| | This is definately 10/10. Two biggest artists | |
| | Break and Icicle have remixed another huge | |
| | one - Alix Perez. It just can't be bigger. | |

| | Shogun drop an absolute monster remix 12" to | |
| | keep things bubbling in preparation for the | |
| | Alix Perez album, "1984", scheduled for | |
| | October. With both tracks having been | |
| | prominent features on Friction's recent mix | |
| | album and Grooverider's support on Radio 1 | |
| | this is yet another must-have Shogun release. | |
| | First up to be given the once over is "Down | |
| | The Line" and believe us when we say the | |
| | original was killer but this remix is iller! | |
| | The boy wonder Break has taken the once tough | |
| | but dulcet tones and turned them into what's | |
| | commonly know as a dance floor destroyer. | |
| | Although Break shows his softer side with a | |
| | beautifully melodic, vocal and guitar-laden | |
| | intro it's the drop of face-wincing grizzle | |
| | bass and neck-snapping snares that mark this | |
| | one out from the crowd. Wait for the | |
| | switch-up on the second drop too, total | |
| | carnage! To most it would be a hard act to | |
| | follow but Shogun's own Icicle rise to the | |
| | challenge with ease and takes "Stray" into | |
| | some seriously damaged territories. Keeping | |
| | the original samples intact he plays with us | |
| | at first, teasing with sporadic kicks, snares | |
| | and looped pads before a nasty drone bass | |
| | rattles in and takes things deep deep down. | |
| | Expertly crafted, this one's ice-cold! Love | |
| | from all areas including Friction, | |
| | Grooverider, Bailey, D Bridge, Andy C, | |
| | Pendulum, Break, Noisia, Alix Perez, Icicle, | |
| | Ed Rush and more. | |
