. If you cast your minds back to the Glimmers Fabric mix CD, .
. then you'll remember a live band style cover version of .
. Adonis classic Chicago house tune "No Way Back". .
. .
. The track (from Portuguese art band's "Poplastik" CD) now .
. gets picked up by fans of all things Chi-Town, Mathematics. .
. As the sub-title points out, this is a 'nu-disco long-player'.
. and it really is a brilliant extended 12 minute-long workout .
. by Adonis himself. .
. .
. Pop Dell'Arte's "Querelle" is then reworked by that other .
. don of old school techno / house, Steve Poindexter, while .
. THE Circle Jerks (not to be confused with no wave outfit .
. Circle Jerks) come up with a wicked looped-up dub of the .
. Adonis "No Way Back" jackin' original - that acid bassline .
. gets me every time! .
. .
. Released as DD at Beatport : 08-06-2009. .
. .
. Ripper's note : Not bought some MP3's and just tagged it. .
. Encoded with love from WAV's, edited and tagged with soul ;) .
. The only way WEB rls should be done. .
