Release Notes:

Bathed in torrents of cascading sound, They Blind
The Stars, And The Wild Team is a true musical
adventure and Decoder RingÆs best work yet - no
small accomplishment given the critical, listener
and award circuit praise already heaped on the band
both locally and internationally. The album, which
was recorded in the US with American producer Scott
Colburn (Animal Collective, Arcade Fire), and
co-produced by Decoder Ring, is the conclusion of a
journey that began with the multi award winning
soundtrack to the Australian film æSomersaultÆ, and
was swiftly followed by the critically acclaimed
æFractionsÆ in 2005.

Since their return from North America in 2006 the
band's members have dedicated themselves to a period
of sonic exploration, resulting in the suite of
sounds that form the core of this new release.
