Surrey's All Forgotten's new EP, 'Transitions' could simply be described
as Alexisonfire-style guitars mixed with You Me At Six vocals and then
some. As over the course of 5 songs, the five-piece show the ability to
write songs that plain and simple sound huge.

Tracks like 'A Living Not Worth Of A Life' and 'A Fools Throne' are
driven by big riffs and are pleasantly joined by calm, melodic vocals
that make these songs heavy yet at the same time catchy. It makes a
strong foundation to build on.

Next is 'Love From A Mother' is full of power and hard hitting drums and
heavy guitars that despite their presence, do not distract from Jonathan
Thorne's strong vocal performance; something that is seen throughout the
EP.

Whilst 'One Day We Will Fly Again' is perhaps one of the more melodic
tracks with screeching guitars and Thorne's calm, near pop-punk vocals
making a great combination and is the most favourable track on the EP.

'Thorne In My Side' is the band at their heaviest; wall-smashing drums,
fast guitar riffs and screamo vocals that sound like the end of the
world is about to happen, brings this superb EP to a close, which is
unfortunate as it is an EP that is consistent and keeps its momentum
through out.

'Transitions' is the perfect release for a band of this caliber, as it
defines who they are and definitely shows the potential they have. All
Forgotten are able to grab you hard and won't let go until you realise
how amazing these songs are. Thankfully they are, as they hit you
suddenly and don't let give you time to rest to the very end.

If they can write songs that sound this big now, who knows what can
happen next?
