Known as a goddess of music with an amazing energy, Lonnie
Gordon has graced the dance charts with such worldwide
number one smashes as Happening All Over Again, Gonna Catch
You and Bad Mood.
This power-house vocalist is celebrating these days and is
looking back with No Regret, a sampling of the last decade
mixed with new songs, like the surprising cover of Stevie
Nicks, Edge of 17 and a spiritual dance track entitled He
Lives In You.
Of her latest project "No Regret", Billboard Magazine
writes, "These are real songs NO REGRET will no doubt,
please all Gordon Fans."
Living in New York City, Lonnie Gordon has traveled around
the world and enjoys working and living in Europe. The most
amazing presence in her life is her daughter, who resides
in Europe.
The most brilliant thing I've done in my life is have a
daughter when she was small she came to all my gigs. She
knows what I do for a living. Im not the kind of person
that holds back, if its good enough for me, its good enough
for her to know. We get along really well.
Speaking about her latest project No Regret Gordon says:
Its a conglomeration of what Lonnie Gordon's done in the
last ten years. When I missed my audience, I wrote about it
from the privacy of my home. When I performed at Blu, I did
Wait. It was written for my audience. Missing You is for my
daughter. My fans still ask me to sing Bad Mood. I have new
songs to share. Before I die, I want to know who Lonnie
Gordon is, I think there's a whole lot left.
In 2001, Lonnie Gordon made her first appearance at Joe's
Pub in New York City under the musical direction of Lenny
Underwood. Performing with a live band she took her
audience on a musical journey she calls Lalonnie's Amazing
Grace.
One more time we have here an extremly rare 2x12" vinyl,
produced by Roger Sanchez in 1993 on SBK records.
