Here it is then - the missing number from the catalogue! I felt I should fill this gap in with a spot of Remote_
and here it is - Endings. Whether or not you're going to dig this release relies upon whether you enjoy
relatively upbeat (in attitude, if not in tempo), grooved out and trippy (thanks for that G!) techno / house. I
categorise it that way as I really don't know which camp it falls into. For me it just 'is', if you know what I
mean? Endings consists of End and Acid End which are essentially two versions of the same track. The
first is more of an obvious reference to house with a classic sounding bassline that drives the track
forwards throughout. Using a filtered chord sequence to create movement the track slowly builds up into a
series of mini epic bits before fading gently away at the end. Acid End is, yes you've guessed it, an acid
version. For me the use of the TB303 has been blighted over the years by people overusing its
squelchiness. I've always been a big fan of flat, lowdown 303 bass and once again I've popped a bassline
in here that rolls along in a dramatic fashion. Add in some tweaks towards the end and you've got a classic
sounding, yet hard to quantify piece that will either do it for you or not. I have to say I love this track and I'm
very proud of it. I really hope you like it too. Limited copies.
