Release Notes:

When George Harrison planned the reissue of All Things Must Pass in 2000, he
fought the urge to simplify the original mixes. So he might well have loved this
EP of his songs, most from All Things, recorded in 2001 by Jim James shortly
after Harrison's death. Swathed in reverb, slowed and stripped-down, these
versions channel melodies mainly with James' acoustic guitar and piercing tenor.
"My Sweet Lord" becomes a hushed prayer; "Ballad of Sir Frankie Crisp (Let It
Roll)" goes ghostly. And on the upbeat country waltz "Behind That Locked Door,"
James keens, "It's time we start smiling" ù always a useful sentiment for
mourners.
