The original Uniques formed in the '60s and were one of the most famous
Reggae harmony groups of the era. In the mid '90's, producer Niney The
Observer assembled a new incarnation of the group for an album project
featuring original member Jimmy Riley with former member, Cornel
Campbell and Al Campbell. At the time, all three had their own
flourishing solo careers. On this album, all three take turns here to
demonstrate their own distinctive styles on lead to the delight of their
own individual fans. With this collective weight of individual Reggae
icons, you could actually call this a super group version of a classic
  group - Delta Music 2007
