Release Notes:

From the liner notes: Reggae Rave! - 16 Crucial Cuts

During the 1970's reggae became a major musical influence throughout the world.
Over the years we have seen a large number of reggae hits in an ever increasing
range of innovative styles. This collection starts with the original version of
"Lively up yourself" by reggae's original superstar Bob Marley.

The Godfather of Jamaican rap Dillinger treats us to his "Funkey Punk". Other
prominent reggae rappers we feature here are General Trees and U. Brown. The
distinctive mellow sound of Gregory Isaacs "Mr Cool ruler" himself can be heard
on "Loving Puper". John Holt, Al Campbell, Sugar Minott, Natural Ites and Junior
Brown are among the other major stars we feature here, presenting us with a
broad spectrum of reggae on these sixteen crucial cuts.
