Tommy Four-Seven returns for the fifth release on his deep techno imprint,
Shooting Elvis. "London Town" was Tommy's first project since moving to Berlin
in January this year. Originally a remix request from UK's grime outfit, Man
Like Me, Tommy has now licensed his "Berlin" mixes ready for the techno
community via 12" Vinyl, complete with a fresh re-master. This sound is typical
of Tommy, deep, dark and hypnotic using repetitive locked drones marching to a
fierce groove and sharp percussion. Early support from Chris Liebing, Joel Mull,
Hernan Cattaneo, Mark-Henning, Perc, Darko Esser, Pheek, Xpansul, Sebastian
Roya, Dave Shokh. Shooting Elvis is the new imprint from precocious
twenty-two-year-old Tommy-Four-Seven. The label already has contributions from
Remute, Mark Broom, Sebastian Roya and James Kronier with tracks from more deep
techno luminaries to be announced. Fans range from Chris Liebing to Satoshi
Tomiie, who both licenced Shooting Elvis tracks for their latest mix
compilations.
