Romanian producer Hypnotic Hour (Emil Oprea) is up next on Mistique Music with
the track "Dark Eyes". He first started to release tracks in 2008 on labels
including Deepsessions and Elektrax. This release comes with 6 remixes - the
biggest amount yet on a single release on Mistique Music.
The original mix is actually quite "hypnotic"; dark pad stabs and deep basslines
are key elements in this mix, and more hypnotizing melodies appear little by
little. The rather enjoyable main melodies are characterized by his experiences
with playing the flute when he studied jazz music.
Hungarian Chris Drifter (Krisztian Gabor) provides the first remix. The dark
mood is already in place in the first few seconds of the mix, and the beat
consists of a good deal of percussion lines that create a funky groove together
with the deep bassline. Many different sound effects spice up this remix as
well.
The second remix comes from Maindave (David Garcia) from Argentina. A good deal
of energy is unleashed in the early stage of this remix; the beat and the
pumping bassline create a heavy groove to support the melodies and various
stabs. The first break is dominated by a great break beat, and the second is
solely melody oriented; many pad lines get into play here, and they lead up to
another round of energetic and pumping beats.
From Israel come Rezo & Emannuel (Rezo Shalomi and Emannuel Kriheli) who have
provided us with two different mixes, labelled "A Side" and "B Side". The "A
Side" remix starts out with a calm and soothing atmosphere with subtle pad lines
in the background and a soft beat. Rezo's girlfriend recorded some vocals for
this remix - they bring the mix to a higher level as the other melodies progress
and become more complex.
Their second remix, the "B Side" remix, has a beat which is a little harder, and
new synths are also introduced in this track.
Bobby Deep (Mpampis Vasilos) from Greece has made a remix with brisk percussion
lines that are soon supported by an uplifting bassline and fine pad lines. The
driving beat and the original flute melody are supported by new and exciting
synth riffs later on to heighten the energy a notch.
Last but not least is the remix from Deeper Moments & Robert K (Krisztißn Balßzs
and Robert-┴rpßd Kiss) Hungarian producers/dj's from Romania. It includes some
rather deep bassline stabs and other various sound effects, and the pad melodies
go well with the rather uplifting, yet hard-hitting beat.
