It's time for some maximum strength industrial techno funk from
Ancient Methods and Bjoern Svin. Both artists here operate on the
most brutally serrated fringes of the scene, with Ancient Methods
being hailed by many as the most exciting thing to happen in
industrial music for a long time, and Bjoern Svin holding down a
number of projects in the Danish techno underground. The keener
eared among you may recognise AM's 'The Whip' from their revered
mnml ssgs mix, it's the hard swung and cacophonously overloaded
one that makes you want to act like godzilla and tear down
skyscrapers. On the flip the dangerous Dane Bjoern Svin is joined
by fellow Danish producers Jonas Olesen, Karsten Pflum and
Copyflex for a headfucking slab of techno abstraction hewn from
boulder shaped kicks and strange samples arranged to infuriate the
dance. Awesome stuff.
