Quasi is a Portland-based indie rock side-project featuring
Sam Coomes (Roxichord/guitar/songwriting), formerly of Donner
Party and Heatmeiser, and Janet Weiss (drums), currently of
Sleater Kinney. Both musicians used to perform in the band
Motorgoat, and were once married to each other.
The tension-filled duo performs dark, lo-fi indie rock based
around Coomes' Roxichord, a primitive, mid-'70s synthesizer,
earning positive reviews in the underground press. Enjoy to
newest album - "Hot Shit" - will be released official
