Norwegian darling Kaada is a delight with his soulful,
electro-pop ambience. Born John Erik Kaada in summer 1975,
this experimentalist-in-the-making got his first synthesizer
at age ten. By his late teens, Kaada was fronting the indie
rock outfit Cloroform. They went on to release four albums
prior to disbanding in 2001. John Erik Kaada was exploring
film compositions during this time and contributed to
various Norwegian movies while also issuing singles under
the Kaada moniker. In early 2003, with a recording deal with
Ipecac, Kaada released his kitschy, cinematic debut Thank
You for Giving Me Your Valuable Time.
