Release Notes: ░██▓
██▒
Fresh off his national appearance on Jake One's White Van ██░
Music, Seattle MC D. Black has returned with his sophmore ██
project; exploring the soulful side of hip hop. It provokes ██
thought while also providing hard hitting beats. ██
██
With production from the likes of Jake One, Vitamin D, and ██
B. Brown, Ali'Yah is a far departure from Black's debut CD. ██
His confident flow adds layers to the music, making the ██
album seem like a veteran created it. Laced with a spiritual ██
essence, Ali'Yah has the strength of a mass choir and leaves ██
you feeling enthused about hip hop. ██
██
It inspires, and touches you in a place that's needed, to ██
get through the tough and trying times we live in today. ██
It's a brilliant work that further confirms that the ██
Northwest is still one of the world's hotbeds for musical ██
talent. ██
