████ Biography by Jason Birchmeier ████
████ ████
████ Ambient dub-techno duo Sounds From the Ground ████
████ first came to prominence in 1996 with the epic ████
████ "Triangle," which was followed by another ████
████ landmark production, "Gather." After releasing ████
████ these two successful singles, duo members ████
████ Elliot Jones and Nick Woolfson crafted their ████
████ debut long-player, Kin (1996). The well-known ████
████ West Coast ambient label Waveform released the ████
████ album in the States to a warm reception. ████
████ However, Sounds From the Ground didn't return ████
████ with another long-player until 2000, Terra ████
████ Firma (originally released overseas as ████
████ Mosaic). By that time whatever momentum the ████
████ duo had established with their debut had long ████
████ since diminished. ████
