│ │
│ What really comes across on this release though, is the careful │
│ complexity of the beat programming. This, combined with drone n │
│ space elements, create an atmosphere reminiscent of a most │
│ uncharacteristically laidback Squarepusher or a more precise and │
│ frantic Orb. The entire album flows along very nicely shifting │
│ through tempos and beat structures with just enough variety to │
│ keep your interest, from ethno-dub through minimal techno to │
│ Boards of Canada-esque IDM, and so on. Another nice touch is the │
│ way in which the Seefeel-style drone loop at the end is the same │
│ sound that starts the album, making the album itself one big │
│ loop. │
│ │
│ Tleilaxu-Genetherapy-Reissue-2002-CQi was released as single │
│ tracks, this is the .cue'd version. Enjoy │

│
│ soup was founded in early 2002, with the intention of releasing
│ the hip-hop, trip-hop, lo-fi and turntablism that has been slept
│ on by other groups. We're a small, friendly group with a real
│ passion for our music, who're fed up of the overly competitive,
│ elitist and aggressive attitude of certain groups.
