+-------------------------------[Release Notes]------------------------------+

Breakbeat has continued to establish itself as a recognised form of
dance music over the past year and this album (2nd in Y3K series) hopes
to once again set the pace for the coming months.

Progressive Breakbeat has been springing up left, right and centre this
year with more and more club nights dedicating themselves to this sound
as well as more and more successful House nights adopting Breakbeats
into their main room policies as well as using them as a resident back
room sound.

This album once again strives to demonstrate the diveristy within the
scene as well as representing the artists and tracks featured within my
set this year.

For this reason you will find new exclusive tracks from Ashtrax, Way Out
West, Timo Mass & Ian Wikie and Hybrid representing the trancey angle of
my sets to compliment new material from Bushwacka! Lexi Love and General
Midi who represent the funkier end of what this scene is about.

There are also some very special projects on this album as Hybrid remix
old Hardcore classic "Bombscare" by 2 Bad Mice (the original remains in
my box to this date) and is looking like being a classic in it's own
right. B.L.I.M. has also remixed "Red Light District" by German electro
god Anthony Rother showing my favourite artists in all their glory.

You will also find two older tracks, both Sasha's "Rabbitweed" and
Tsunami One & BT's "Hip Hop Phenomenon" may be familiar to many but
these two records totally sum up what this album is all about regardless
of age - People from all walks of dance music embracing the sound of the
future!

Hyper '00
