▓ ███ ███ ▓
▓ ███ Pankow is just fucking awesome. this album's from ███ ▓
▓ ███ 1989, but it still goes through phases of ███ ▓
▓ ███ infecting my cd player like a bad bout of ███ ▓
▓ ███ priapism. pankow is four italian guys who try ███ ▓
▓ ███ very hard to be german instead as they write ███ ▓
▓ ███ phallocentric waxtrax!-style dance music. ███ ▓
▓ ███ ███ ▓
▓ ███ what differentiates pankow from lots of crap on ███ ▓
▓ ███ waxtrax! is that pankow, apart from having a fair ███ ▓
▓ ███ chunk of talent -- these songs are solid and ███ ▓
▓ ███ catchy, in a 1989-electronic-pop way -- are ███ ▓
▓ ███ really fucking funny. read the tracklist. imagine ███ ▓
▓ ███ what the lyrics are like. they're even better ███ ▓
▓ ███ than that. 'me and my ding-dong' really is about ███ ▓
▓ ███ alex spalck's (the vocalist) ding-dong. mmmm. ███ ▓
▓ ███ ███ ▓
▓ ███ this album is a classic. think a german depeche ███ ▓
▓ ███ mode in high school (in a, uh, good way) and ███ ▓
▓ ███ you've got the right idea. no, it's not ███ ▓
▓ ███ groundbreaking or innovative in the slightest. ███ ▓
▓ ███ but it's fucking good. ███ ▓
