██▓ as one of the greatest tenor saxophonists in jazz ▓██
██▓ history. This 13-track compilation features his ▓██
██▓ works from as early as 1948 (from his years under ▓██
██▓ Woody Herman) to the 70s for his more experimental ▓██
██▓ solo recordings. ▓██

██▓ As usual, his tracks feature collaborations with ▓██
██▓ legendary jazz musicians, and this CD boasts Joao ▓██
██▓ Gilberto, Herbie Hancock, and Chick Corea to name a ▓██
██▓ few. ▓██

██▓ However, as compilations go, the Profile is limited ▓██
██▓ at best, featuring an odd recording of Aguas De ▓██
██▓ Marco to represent Getz's years with Gilberto, ▓██
██▓ instead of the celebrated and unforgettable Girl ▓██
██▓ from Ipanema, for instance. Despite helpful notes ▓██
██▓ by Brian Priestly about each track, it is difficult ▓██
