Information:
While working on a studio album for Music Man that had been frequently
interrupted by other demands on his time Richard Brown (AKA Cherry Bomb)
played a live gig at Remedy in Sheffield and it was the first time a Cherry
Bomb live set had been recorded. A copy was sent to the Music Man boss,
Stefaan, who, blown away by it, suggested it should be released. In
Richard's words, 'Sheffield was pretty much a home gig (though even more for
Chris Duckenfield my partner in Swag) though I played live on my own Chris
helped with DJing. The set featured a couple of joint tracks from Chris's
Primitive label (originally released under the Primitive name). I had not
done any live gigs for a while but I was really pleased with the results. I
only remember a couple of mistakes in the gig, but they have been left in,
it is as it was recorded. It was not originally intended for release but
Stefaan thought it was too good not to come out!' And here is the living
proof.s
